L'Arena dello Stretto (o "Anfiteatro Anassilaos") è un teatro di costruzione moderna, a imitazione degli antichi teatri greci, situato sul lungomare Falcomatà a Reggio Calabria, nel punto in cui prima del terremoto del 1908 sorgeva il Molo di Porto Salvo.
La struttura, rispecchiando la tradizione del teatro antico, offre una vista panoramica, in questo caso dello Stretto di Messina. Oltre alla gradinata semicircolare, il teatro presenta due ampie rampe ai lati che consentono alle persone disabili di giungere nella zona inferiore dell'arena.
Il teatro è spesso sede degli eventi più importanti della città, quali manifestazioni musicali, teatrali e cinematografiche (in particolare Reggio Calabria Film Fest), e feste stagionali (Solstizio d'Estate dell'Accademia di Belle Arti).
Il Cippo Marmoreo, fu inaugurato nel maggio del 1932. La statua in bronzo al centro (opera dello scultore messinese Bonfiglio) raffigura Athena Promachos, la dea Atena combattente, che sta a difesa della città di Reggio.

The 'Arena dello Stretto' (or 'Anfiteatro Anassilaos') is a modern theatre imitating ancient Greek theatres located on the Lungomare Falcomatà in Reggio di Calabria. In the spot where, before the 1908 earthquake, there was the Molo di Porto Salvo.
The structure, reflecting the tradition of the ancient theatre, offers a panoramic vista of the Strait of Messina. Apart from the semicircular terraces, the theatre features two ample ramps on the sides that allow disabled people to reach the arena's inferior sector.
The theatre is often home to the most important events of the city, such as music festivals, plays, concerts (in particular the Reggio Calabria Film Fest), and seasonal events (the Solstizio d'Estate dell'Accademia di Belle Arti).
The Cippo Marmoreo was inaugurated in 1932. The bronze statue at the centre (by the sculptor Bonfiglio from Messina) depicts Athena Promschos, the goddess defending the city of Reggio.
